I've changed my strategy about teaching at the Studio.  Last year I had three specific time-frames for my classes but since my students work at different speeds, I'm finding that I might as well have a more flexible offering.  So when a loom becomes available, I will be looking for someone to fill it.  I will see how that goes for a while. 
I have been weaving for nearly 50 years creating both functional and visual art pieces. My art pieces are produced by blending painting and weaving to create an effect that tries to break the natural grid on the loom. I teach weaving too. For over 20 years, I have worked with inner-city children at the Neighborhood Art House, an after-school program. Last year I opened my own weaving studio to teach adults at the Studio at St. Mary's: Space to Create.
